An AML case occurs when an exchanger freezes a user’s cryptocurrency and refuses to complete the exchange (or return the funds) without providing identity documents.

I do not recommend using this exchanger. The EXCHANGER raises more questions than it provides answers.

29 days ago, I made my first BTC to tbank exchange on this very site. As it turned out, the situation is typical for 90% of users, the so-called "AML check." In the first few days, the operator communicated with me like a human, but over time, their responses became increasingly automated, copying and pasting standard phrases, repeating actions without explanation.
I was informed that I had a "high-risk asset," and they sent me a checklist from the "BitOK" AML bot, showing 100% risk, labeled as stolen. I received them when exchanging Ether for Bitcoin on the Paxful platform and got flagged by the hash. Interestingly, this exchanger's AML bot shows many addresses as highly risky, whereas other systems, such as CoinKit or the AMLBot of other platforms, set the risk level significantly lower — at 10-15%.
I have studied many articles about the "BitOK" AML bot and concluded that many users consider it unreliable. Checking addresses through paid services shows different risk levels, but none of them provide 100% certainty.
The rules of this exchanger seem to be made up on the fly and contain many nuances taken to the point of absurdity. For example, if the coins are considered high-risk, why do they keep them after the verification period expires? Why have they been moving between different addresses for a long time? This raises serious questions about the transparency and security of the exchanger's policy.
If you refer to an AML policy, it gives the impression that there is a lack of proper transparency and security guarantees on the part of your exchanger. You probably don't care about your trust rating, otherwise, you would look after your reputation.
I am an ordinary person, a father of many children, who came to exchange my funds to pay off loans and cover family needs. In the end, I ended up in a trap; they demand that I undergo KYC, and in the Telegram chat, sometimes an operator answers, sometimes an admin, everything is chaotic, without clear explanations. Every time they claim that the answer will come within two days, but this is a delay tactic specifically designed to mentally wear down your nerves and your desire to continue.
I am not against undergoing KYC verification, but I want to know who I am handing my personal data over to. According to the exchanger, the data is stored "in the system," but who exactly is behind this? Are you registered as a legal entity or an individual? Any processor of personal data is required to be registered in the appropriate registry. Who will process my data and ensure its security by law? If you are in the registry, please send the supporting documents to my email; if not, answer me.
My deadline for the request expires on the 19th; I clarified this issue with them and offered to send the KYC on that same day. There was no answer for a long time, and when I stated my intention to leave a review on BestChange, only then did they answer that they don't deal with such matters on weekends, and that the decision on KYC is made only by the administrator on working days. This looks like a delay of the procedure specifically until the request deadline. In the Telegram chat, the support staff acts as both operator and admin simultaneously, which raises even more questions about the transparency of the exchanger's work. To my question about further actions, they replied: "When creating the request, you agreed to the rules of the exchange service and the terms of the AML policy." So, it turns out, are my coins your coins? I offered the exchanger all possible options: increasing the return fee, letting them keep a decent amount as compensation — but they refused, citing the need to undergo KYC.
Finally, I asked them a question: "Does the administrator have a full name? Can you provide me with a video selfie with a passport? BestChange won't provide me with your data, right? You require me to undergo KYC, but who are you yourself?" and of course, I received the answer: "When creating the request, you agreed to the rules of the exchange service and the terms of the AML policy."
This question highlights their lack of transparency and double standards. If they require proof of identity from me, they should be prepared to do the same; otherwise, it looks like an attempt to impose a procedure without guarantees and without transparency. Overall, I strongly do not recommend using this exchanger due to the lack of transparency and potential risks to your funds and personal data. Be careful and choose proven services!

P.S: An interesting point, BestChange is blocked in the RF, I am connected to a VPN that shows a connection in London, UK, but on the BestChange website, after my review, a Ukrainian flag appeared next to my name. But the IP address according to whois data shows London.
